CharmyxGalaxina 2

I've never been any good at shipping, but I do have one crackship in me: Charmy Bee and Galaxina of the Seedrians.

Obviously, a popular alternative to TailsxCosmo is CharmyxCosmo, but I like a different idea.  Everyone's had a crush on someone older than themselves at some point and I don't think Charmy would be any different.  Cosmo is pretty, but she hasn't bloomed yet.  Galaxina, on the other hand, is taller, leggier and fully-bloomed.  If you're a bee, the choice is obvious.  Poor Galaxina wasn't expecting Charmy to be so brash...or strong.  By the looks of Mushroom Hill, it's Autumn.  Let's hope Cosmo or Vector can put a stop to this before Galaxina has to endure a very weird Winter.

This isn't up to snuff with my last few drawings because I actually made it a few years ago.  Desfinity and I were in the middle of a collaborative series of Taismo stories that came with pictures a long time ago.  When my second turn came up, I was going to make this BIG image of Cream dragging Tails away and Charmy flying away with Cosmo, Tails and Cosmo reaching out to each other desperately.  It actually turned out very nice by my standards, but I decided that the picture and the story in my head were too sad and mean, which made me lose my nerve.  The images sat on my computer, fully inked, just waiting to be used.  I finally dusted this one off tonight and took an hour or two converting Cosmo into Galaxina.  Replacing Cosmo's rosebuds with Galaxina's flower wasn't too hard, but I kept hitting snags with with the background and coloring.

Charmy and Galaxina are very stiff because I didn't draw with references back then.  Charmy also used to be taller, but I shortend his legs because...I dunno, short kid carrying tall girl.  I like drawing Cosmo with long sleeves, but didn't know how to convert them to normal sleeves with hands when I turned this into Galaxina, so no hands for Galaxina; tough break, kid.  The background is the only thing that I made today.  It's admittedly a rush job, but I actually like how it came out.  It's the autumn variant of Mushroom Hill from Sonic and Knuckles.  I figured that if my first CharmyxGalaxina pic used an old-school stage as a background, I can continue the tradition here...and Emerald Hill looked too similar to Green Hill to use.

Long story short: it's a weird picture because it's an OOOOOLD picture that I only dusted off now.  Some things don't make sense now that I changed Cosmo to Galaxina, but I still like the idea and it doesn't look as bad some of my other stuff.  I kinda-sorta-not-really hope that I can get this weird ship off the ground, but I don't think it'll turn any heads.

Fun Fact 1: Every time I've drawn Galaxina, it was originally supposed to be Cosmo.
Fun Fact 2: Every time I've drawn Charmy, he's been hitting on a plant girl.
