Cosmo and Tails: New Digs

This is the cover image for a story I wrote.  In it, Cosmo visits the world of Sonic Boom and is advised to pack some travel-worthy clothes.  Earlier in the story, Tails attends a Seedrian dinner and is asked to wear Seedrian regalia.  I modified his outfit a bit from what we saw the pre-Metarex male Seedrians wear to more closely resemble Cosmo's original clothes, albeit with some more masculine traits (no jewelry, coattails instead of a dress, etc).  Cosmo likes her sporty new outfit, but Tails isn't too comfortable in clothes (its' a Mobian thing).

I drew this image in a few days, inked in a few more and colored it within minutes thanks to Adobe Illustrator's Live Paint tool.  I considered adding shading and highlighting to this picture, but just getting this far was kind of exhausting (I'm out of practice) and I have more important work waiting for me over on Maiden-Chynna's fan-story, Mahou Shoujo Robotto Daft Punk.

I'm trying to improve my Sonic character proportions, but I'm not ecstatic with how this one turned out.  Como looks fine to me, but parts of Tails don't look good to me; I especiall don't like how his body looks kinda like Eggman in different clothes.  Well, this is probably the last time I'll draw him in clothes anyway, so I guess it isn't too bad in the grand scheme of things.
