Description

Scenario: I don't have any interest in Pokken Tournament because none of my favorite Pokemon are in it and Pikachu is in the game TWICE, taking up a slot that could have been filled by the more interesting Hawlucha.

Reaction:  I draw a picture of the unnecessary Pikachu beating my favorite Pokemon.  Logic?  I've got it!

Not much story behind this.  I was bored.  I like wrestling.  I have a habit of picking on my favorite characters.  Even the names of the characters are pointless; I just liked the sound of "Tango and Mercy."

Mercy was easy enough to do, even if I exaggerated her arm length for the sake of performing a Gorilla Press Slam (I accidentally gave her big biceps too, but I had to cut them out).  Tango was a bit of a challenge, though.  Easy parts were copying his head from a time I drew my RP character and the body, but getting a sense of dangling and weightlessness in his legs was difficult; not really certain I accomplished it either.  The health bar boxes are also smaller than I thought they'd be.

If you've seen anything I do with Pokemon, you'll notice that I give Pokemon moves that they can't learn.  It doesn't make sense, but I love Fighting Type moves and I don't have any particular fondness for "the rules" if a Pokemon has enough limbs to perform certain moves.  If you wanna call me out on anything, ask me why I gave a cruiserweight luchador a lifting move reserved primarily for hosses...Those are wrestling terms, kids.

I swear that the levels aren't totally unrealistic, though.  I've had a few battles where I beat Pokemon a few levels higher than mine.  I know it's not common, but I feel like a 5 level gap wouldn't be impossible for talented players to pull off...Whether or not they could do it THIS EASILY, however, is another matter.

No offense, but Pikachu beating Raichu is way overdone. Raichu is my favorite pokemon, but he's also such an underdog. Drawing him being 5 level higher than Pikachu and still lossing to him is just adding another humiliating moment into his massive pile of embarasement.

After all, if Pikachu in the show can beat Regice in 1vs1 fight, or defeat Tyranitar, Metagross and even damage Charizard in a row, the Raichu as fully evolved pokemon surely should be able to defeat pokemon like Mewtwo or Ryquaza or something like that... yeah, like that would ever happen.
